Poorva Express (Bengali: পূর্ব এক্সপ্রেস, Hindi: पूर्व एक्स्प्रेस) is a daily superfast express train of Indian Railways, running between Howrah, West Bengal, and New Delhi, the capital city of India.
The name Poorva signifies the eastern part of India. It is a very good train after Rajdhani for travellers of Bihar, Jharkhand & West Bengal.
The Train has been allotted a 22 coach rake of LHB Coaches, which started running from 30 April 2013 on allotment basis The Allotment of LHB Rake for first 1 month is like this. Now the maximum permissible speed of this train is 130.00 km/h.
