Surendrapuri
Located about 60 kilometres from Hyderabad, Surendrapuri is home to the Mythological Awareness Centre, which was established to create awareness among people about Hindu mythology.

The Centre was set up Kunda Satyanarayana to honour the memory of his son, Surendra.

The Centre is home to full-sized models of nearly all important Hindu temples existing in India.

The craftsmanship of these temples is similar to the original temples that one feels they are inside the actual temple.

There are a few hundred models in the Centre that can be visited over 3 to 4 hours.

A lot of effort and care has gone into the paintings and sculptures that depict stories from Ramayan and Mahabharat.

The Centre is open to people of all faiths and provides a unique opportunity to fulfill religious obligations as well as get an insight into Hindu mythology.
