She Team Stop Eve Teasing Hyderabad City Police:

After Telangana formed the government launched a special team for the safety security for womens in telangana as SHE TEAM.

She Team launched Telangana:

Hyderabad police on October 24 launched ‘She Teams’ to provide security to women and curb incidents of eve-teasing Total 100 she team only women police, to control eve teasing in the city and to provide a safe and secure environment for women.

Aim of She team:

Zero tolerance over women’s safety, will function directly under the supervision of additional commissioner of police, crimes & SIT Swati Lakra.
Each team comprises five police personnel and they have been provided small cameras to record the movements of suspects.

The strangers will be identified at different places like bus stops, theatres, and gardens brought to the CCS police Station.
A high level Counselling is done along with the strangers family members in the police station.
The details of the strangers would be kept secret in central database and his activities will be monitored daily,” “Legal action will be initiated as per provisions of the law. Stringent action will be initiated if he comes to adverse notice repeatedly.

The victim’s name and identity will be kept confidential. The identity of those arrested under the ‘She Teams’ would be made public through the media. The she team has suggested to the government to make a new law on eve-teasing on the lines of the Andhra Pradesh Anti Ragging Act and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Eve Teasing Act.
