Hubli Junction railway station (Station code: UBL) is an railway junction station under Hubli railway division of South Western Railway zone of Indian Railways situated in Hubli, Karnataka, India.


Hubli Junction is center place for transportation of public and commercial in Karnataka by connecting northwest to Mumbai(460km), west to Goa(160km), South to Bangalore(410km) and east to Hyderabad(450km) with heavy mass transportation.

 It is the busiest railway station in karnataka after Bangalore City.

The hubli division situated in Hubli city, connects Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai & Goa and more. Commercial goods like Manganese are the main source of income and public transport is another source of income.


The Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway opened the 130.02 kilometres (80.79 mi) Hubli–Harihar rail line on 18 October 1886.

And Hubli–Londa, Hospet–Hubli and Chikjajur–Hubli (part of 469 kilometres (291 mi) Bangalore–Hubli) rail lines were converted during 1995.[
