Amaravathi

Amaravathi is a village in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the Amaravati mandal, north of Guntur City.

It is also referred as Amareswaram, for its famous Amareswara temple dedicated to Lord Siva, which is one of the famous Pancharamas.

 It was formerly known as Andhra Nagari.
