Tali mahadev temple :

Tali mahadev temple kozikode is one of the very famous Mahakshethras (Great Temples) in Kerala.

According to the legend the temple was consecrated and installed by the Lord Parasurama.


Tali Mahadev temple is a fine example of the total integration that can exist between wood and laterite which is a remarkable feature of the Kerala style of architecture.

The presiding deities are lord Siva and lord  Vishnu and five poojas are conducted daily.

The sub-deities are Ganapathy, Sathavu, Bhagavathy etc. This temple is the venue of famous Revathy Pattathanam, the annual cultural and intellectual event.

It is a great celebration of cultural Kerala.

The temple remains in the heart of the city of Kozhikode.
