Madhurawada is a major suburb of Visakhapatnam City in the Andhra Pradesh State.

 It is located on the Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram stretch of National Highway 5 at around 16km from Visakhapatnam City.

Madhurawada is developing as a major destination for Sports,Education and Business Establishments.

An International Cricket Stadium, the ACA-VDCA Stadium, is located at PM Palem in Madhurawada.


A Fantasy Park called "Jatara" and constructed by the Government of AP is a famous tourist destination of Madhurawada.


The "Durgalamma" Ammavaru Temple is a famous at Chandrampalem in Madhurawada.


Midhilapuri Hills Balaji Temple is a place with natural essence on a low level hillock and picturesque view of Madhurawada and Eastern Ghats.


APSRTC bus depot was ready to open at midhilapuri colony.Madhurawada is a Pre Historical Neolithic site[1] along the Eastern Ghats surrounding the city of Visakhapatnam. Trail excavations were carried out around Madhurawada and some Megalithic and Neolithic remnants were found. Trail excavations are documented by A professor from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
