Mumbai city, an urban metropolis has been a silent spectator of India's colonial history and diverse culture. There is a plethora of famous monuments in Mumbai. Mumbai abounds in magnificent architectural landmarks, epigraphic edifices and majestic monuments.

The exquisite Flora Fountain also known as Hutatma Chowk or Martyr's Square that pays a tribute to all those who laid their lives in the Maratha battlefield stands tall in the city's epicenter amidst the maddening hustle and bustle.

The primordial Elephanta Caves located on Gharapuri Island and adorned with ornate sculptures and shrines reverberates with spirituality and is thus a tourist's haven.
