Sanjay National Park & Sanctuary

The forest is largely sal with an attractive river flowing through. Tiger, leopard, chital, samber, nilgiri wild boar and much birdlife, are seen.

The Sanctuary with an area of 140 sq miles ( 365 sq km ) was then expended as a national park to cover 747 sq miles ( 1,935 sq km ).
