Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport


Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (IATA: LKO, ICAO: VILK), is an airport situated at Amausi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

The airport is also called as Lucknow Airport. It is the second busiest airport in North India after Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

On 17 July 2008, Government of India renamed the airport as "Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport".

 The airport was granted international status by the Union Cabinet on 3 October 2012.

The airport has two terminals, the second integrated terminal was completed in April 2012.

 The terminal was inaugurated by civil aviation minister Ajit Singh on 19 May 2012, before opening on 2 June 2012.
