Sir Arthur Cotton Museum :

Sir Arthur Cotton Museum was established in the memory of Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton in 1998. He was the British irrigation engineer and was also known as Cotton Dora. Popular for his various efforts in making Godavari River a fertile water resource, Sir Arthur Thomas Cotton is also known as a Delta Architect of Godavari District. He excelled in irrigation engineering works, which primarily include Dowleswaram Barrage and Anicut System.

It is the only museum of its kind in the entire state, which depicts the construction of Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage. Besides, it displays many photographs, which show how the dam works and presents various tools that can be used in the fabrication of a dam.
