Thullur village new capital of Andhra Pradesh

Thullur is a Village in the Guntur district in State of Andhra Pradesh,

India.State capital: Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced that the new capital of Andhra Pradesh will be set up in this region. It announced that along with Thullur another 14 villages from Thullur mandal would be included in the new capital.It is located 4 km from Krishna River.

Major crops grown in this region include Tobacco, Chili, Cotton, Lemon, Guava, Coconut, Sugar Cane, Jasminum sambac, Sapote and Banana. Irrigation water is provided through the Rayapudi Lift Irrigation and Thullur Lift Irrigation Projects.

Thullur is located on Vijayawada and Amaravati Route.One can reach Thullur trough road by a bus either from Vijayawada or Guntur or Amaravati. CNG Metro Express buses are running from Vijayawada to Amaravati through Thullur.APSRTC Buses from Guntur and Mangalagiri. Amaravathi To Thullur - 25 km Vijayawad To Thullur - 30 km Guntur To Thullur - 32 km
