The Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) is the nodal agency in the administrative structure of the Central Government for planning, promotion, co-ordination and overseeing the implementation of India's environmental and forestry policies and programmes.

 Information on project clearances and rules and regulation related to pollution, environmental protection, wildlife etc. is provided.

 Users can get to know about actions and reports related to climate change and biodiversity conservation. Information about major initiatives such as Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (CAMPA), National River Conservation Plan (NRCP) and National Ganga River Basin Authority (NGRBA) is given.
