Tirupati Airport (also known as Renigunta Airport) (IATA: TIR, ICAO: VOTP) (Telugu :తిరుపతి విమానాశ్రయము) is located at Tirumala - Tirupati in Chittoor Dist in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.
The airport is situated at a distance of 14 km from Tirupati city.
The government in January 2012 announced that by February 2013, night landing facilities would be installed at the airport and 400 acres of land would be acquired to upgrade it to international status.
