Gudur railway station


Gudur railway station, located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, serves Gudur in Sri Potti Sri Ramulu Nellore district. 

It is a major junction station with branch lines to Arakkonam and Vellore Katpadi via Tirupati.

The Vijayawada-Chennai link was established in 1899.

The Chirala-Elavur section was electrified in 1980-81.


Gudur is one of the fourteen ‘A’ category stations and one of the five adarsh stations in the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway.
