Better education in Govt. schools! What not? The list promised by the Congress government and the then chief minister YSR before 2009 elections runs for kilometers. However, almost all the schemes were failed in implementation causing a loss both to the people who believed in these and to government's 'Khazana'. How come a chief minister of state promise and implement such an ineffective welfare schemes that pushes state into a 'black-hole' of debts, is the question.
Many people started constructing houses expecting the government's support in funding them through 'Indiramma Pathakam'. Nothing is left for them, but tears and ruins, due to immobilization of funds from Government. Students who have joined Engineering courses are made to sit at their homes for not paying fee which was expected through 'Fee reimbursement scheme'. Unlike the promise of 9 hours free electricity, Farmers are not even getting an hour of paid current these days. Unable to reap the crop ready for harvesting, innocent feeders are heading for suicides. Leave the 'corporate facilities' at welfare-hostels aside, they are not even endowed with proper beds and bathrooms even for girls and women. There are some schools in the state where people sit under trees when sun hits, and use their books as shade when rain falls.
Surprisingly, YSR had identified that all these schemes or not feasible immediately after turning his 'promises' into vote banks in 2009 elections. After coming to power for second time, he had started restructuring his own schemes by taking a second opinion. To cover up the issue, the 'maha neta' had launched 'Racha Banda' program and unfortunately he is killed in a chopper crash leaving the fruits of those false-promises to next office bearer. The present Chief Minister is unable to answer these irregularities when the opposition raises its voice. Fact is that the schemes launched by YSR are still haunting the present rulers and the people's verdict for 'Reddy Gari Pathakalu' is awaited!
