Simhadri NTPC

NTPC Simhadri is located in Visakhapatnam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

The power plant is one of the coal based power plants of NTPC.

The coal for the power plant is sourced from Kalinga Block of Talcher Coal fields in Orissa. 

Source of water for the power plant is Yeluru canal for sweet water and sea water for Cooling Water system. 

Benefeciary state of the project is Andhra Pradesh.
