National Old Age Pension Scheme
The government of India has the National Old Age Pension Scheme as one of the sub-schemes of National Social Assistance Program.
The scheme has come in to existence with effect from 15th August 1995.
It aims to provide social assistance to the poor people in a house-hold who is above the 65 years of age as old age pension.
